Inspirational Verses

PLAY. By Michael Levy

An awakening to dawn mist on the water,
flowing Spirit’s streams to God’s alter,
purifying essence whistles through the trees,
images of the sacred blowing in the breeze.

Flights of fancy from birds up high,
feathers of many colors filtering through the sky,
sun, moon and stars envelops Earth’s dome,
we’re all birds of a feather, finding our way home.

Spectacle of mesmerizing movements flashing in the mind,
melting pots of humans, secrets hard to find,
love all embracing whispers on the wind,
no physical presence, ecstasy from a light dimmed.

Gifts of joy enmeshed in music and dance,
visualizing images filtering in a trance,
warriors in a drumbeat at journeys end,
back to the womb of creation enmeshed in a substance blend.

Wondrous dreams in the stillness of the dark,
journey on uplifting voyages in paradise park,
thunder and lightening points the way,
a prelude to the land where Soul’s play.

Real Dream by Loriel Golden

Oh, Friend, I cannot tell you if he was real…or in a dream..
Like a vein of lightening, I chained the darkness
I devoured his liquid face
My mouth became melody,
turned into a thousand shimmering silent songs
My voice a celestial waterfall of harpstrings strummed
My fingertips glowed
My feet grew wings
My eyes saw all forms as one eternal radiance
My heart beat so quickly..and stopped…
and did not care if it never beat again…
Oh. Friend, I cannot tell you…
But it is an open secret!

One (Author Unknown)

As the soot and dirt and ash rained down,
We became one color.
As we carried each other down the stairs of the
burning building,
We became one class.
As we lit candles of waiting and hope,
We became one generation.
As the firefighters and police officers fought their
way into the inferno,
We became one gender.
As we fell to our knees in prayer for strength,
We became one faith.
As we whispered or shouted words of encouragement,
We spoke one language.
As we gave our blood in lines a mile long,
We became one body.
As we mourned together the great loss,
We became one family.
As we cried tears of grief and loss,
We became one soul.
As we retell with pride of the sacrifice of heroes,
We become one people.

We are
One color
One class
One generation
One gender
One faith
One language
One body
One family
One soul
One people

We are The Power of One.
We are United.
We are America.

The Rules Changed

Of my eccentricity
For in innocence we shared our fame
Yet as the nursery cleared life somehow appeared
And the rules suddenly changed
So i chose the path

A Joyous Chorus

Has no place

On my journey

For it is only the willow

That weeps at the waters edge

The beauty of nature blossoms

In reflection of the love

I see glowing

Hearts rhythm

Is as that halo

And your beloved silence

Escorts me home

Where the light is the certainty

Glowing brighter than the night

From that golden

As we

Reach out

To touch that

Which we have

Already known

A joyous chorus

Of soul filled laughter

Will remind us

That we have never ever

Truly been

The Joy Of The Source

The emptiness you feel

May appear to be as cold as steel

It is your illusion and not mine to steal

Yet i will share with you a divine love that
will heal

With the same completeness and sweetness of
a heart fed meal

That will allow you to peel the layers of

So that from head to heel

There shall be

A truth

For you to reveal

That no one has the right to implore an
other to kneel

For it is within yourself that you shall

That your soul is the sacred lover

Who will assist you to uncover

The joy of the source

With No Trace

As winter wept
In springs arms
And with no trace
Of my footprints
i did embrace
A nature of
Divine love
And in the silence
My sweet journey
